ECONOMIC SUPPORT PAC

The Economic Support Policy Advisory Committee meets the third Thursday of each month to provide feedback and guidance to both the Department of Health Services and to the Department of Children and Families concerning topics related to the administration of Economic Support Programs, including FoodShare, Medicaid, and Shares Child Care assistance. With numerous Federal and State changes occurring in Economic Support programs, the ES PAC provides feedback and recommendations for changes to program policy, information technology and computer systems to implement new policies and procedures.  The ES PAC makes recommendations for funding allocations, create workload efficiencies and strengthen communications to Economic Support benefit recipients, advocacy agencies and county staff members.
